Phonics and Handwriting: initial h sound
1. Say these pictures
2. Can you think of anything else that begins with the first sound?
3. Try and write a line of them on some paper. Down, down, down and up and over (Handwriting lines or trace).
4. Finish this h sheet. You will have to print it off. Don't be tricked! So things don't start with the e sound. You can try more letters if you want to (sheet).
5. Click on the e to use the slideshow to learn more about h.

You can practice following instructions (reading) and measuring (maths) but also learning new words that recipes use.
Reading
1. Try reading the book you picked up from me today. Remember to point to each word as you say it.
2. Draw a picture of your favourite part of the story or something your family does that is the same.
3. Use a chop stick or something else you can point with and read around your house. What words can you read around the walls?
5. Print out this h outline and write lots of h's over it with crayon or felts. You could use paint if you have some.
Maths
1. See if you can count up to 55, try walking around the house, one step for each number.
2. Practice counting up to and back from 20.
3. See if you can find objects to model (show) mum or dad these problems like we did in class. You could use bottle tops, or pencils or buttons. These ones are takeaway.

4. Practice some more counting. Get mum or dad to set the slider to 20.
