Skyping

I'm not sure that skyping is a word!  But that's what we did with Room 13 this morning.  We thought we'd use our technology to ask them some questions about insects.

We have excellent buddies.  They are a year 8 class.  Today they helped us with writing.  You can see our stories about the tsunami drill in the classroom.  Thanks Room!



















Bible in Schools

Wilton and Janelle visited us for the first time on Wednesday afternoon for Bible in Schools.

Fun Friday Tabloid Sports

This afternoon we did lots of games including tunnel ball.

We did over and under.- Charlie B.
We threw the ball in the bucket. -Ivor
We had to run fast.  - Charlie Hob.
We rolled the ball over the jumping rope and then we threw it back.  - Mitchell.

Tabloid Sports

Tomorrow afternoon we will participate in our house tabloid sports.  These are fun games that the whole school participates in within their mixed-age house groups.  You could send along a top or something in your house colours to wear for the afternoon.

Tsunami Drill

Today we had a tsunami drill.  We talked about what would happen, then we went up the hill.  The kids were so wonderful.  We had our Room 1 buddies to help us.

Ivor- I liked walking with my buddy.
Bree- When the tsnuami drill happened I had to walk up the hill and our buddies were there.
James- It was super tiring going up the hill!
Annabelle- When we went up the hill I almost fell over.
Charlie Ham. - When the bell went it wasn't scary because it was only a practice.
Charlie B. - I like the big kids holding my hands.
Bella- The bell was so loud.
Riley- It was really far away to go up the hill and steep for me to go down.
Jaxon- I wasn't scared when the bell rang.
Charlie H.- I like going up the hill.
Marcelle- The hill was so high, I almost tripped.
Aaron-  I liked going down the hill.  It was fun.
Mitchell- I liked going up the hill.
Hannah B.- I liked my buddy so much.

Free Sausage Sizzle today

Free sausage sizzle today at lunch. Please let your child know if they can eat the sausage sizzle :-)
