Reports
So far the students have been...
- Writing to tell someone the facts about something
- Writing the title at the top
- Writing what the thing is...e.g. A snake is an animal
- Describing the thing- what it looks like and what it does....e.g. A bus is like a car but bigger.
- Writing a sentence about the author's viewpoint on the thing....e.g. Fireworks are dangerous for children and only adults use them.

- Writing about something they have done (not something they will do)
- Writing a title at the top.
- Next they will learn about the specifics of what to write about the who what when and where of what they did.
- Lastly they will write a personal comment about their experiences.
